Educational Sponsorship Program

The main objective of CFI/IBN is to ensure that each and every underprivileged child gets a quality education for his or her self-sustainability in the future. These children stay in their families and attend government or private schools in the same or surrounding vicinities. CFI provides all necessary educational, financial, and moral support to all these children to achieve their desired goals. Under our educational sponsorship program, we support 90% of a girl child.

Highlights

  • Distribution of school material

To see that each child is well equipped to attend school, CFI distributes essential educational material to all sponsored children, which ensures that all children are on the same platform. This material is distributed as per the need of the child and the requirement of the school.

  • Reimbursement of fees

To ensure that all our sponsored children complete their education smoothly, CFI pays the school, college, and vocational course fees of all these children till they complete their education.

  • Supportive coaching class

During corona pandemic, many children lost their interest in studies, and some of the children from small age groups forgot to read and write. To bring these children again into the mainstream and to ensure that they continue their interest in academics, CFI started remedial classes in most of our sponsor villages. Local volunteers and student volunteers are in charge of the classes. One-to-one mentoring of these children is done.

  • Career guidance

Success in a career to a large extent depends upon the right decision taken at the right time. Many of our sponsor children belong to rural and tribal areas, where they have less exposure to various things. After 10th and 12th standard they are unsure as to how to progress further, CFI with help from expert resource persons from various fields guides these children towards the correct path depending upon their interest field.

  • Skills development workshops

Having talent alone is not enough for a child’s growth and development. It needs to be identified and nurtured. With this objective, CFI organizes various workshops on issues like art and craft, personality development, drama, science, and so on for the children covering different age groups as per their needs. Identify the hidden talent in the children and groom it.
